Chaos to Calm K9 Training is located in Newark, Delaware and was founded by dog trainer Christine Dewson. Our private lesson programs and group training classes are designed to help your dog learn the skills they need to be a more mannerly family member. We also teach you how to communicate with your dog and how to help your dog make better behavior choices. We like to say that we train both ends of the leash, which is what makes training results last!

Hi there! I’m so glad your search for a dog trainer led you here. I’d be delighted to help!

My dog training services include private lessons to teach you how to work together with your dog to change their behavior in the context that matters most: your regular life! I also offer virtual training for folks who aren’t local to Newark, Delaware.

Dogs can learn many skills during private lessons, including basic obedience commands, manners, etc. You’ll also learn things like how to communicate with your dog to address any behavior issues that come up, and how to tweak your dog’s lifestyle to help them behave their best!

A huge part of my emphasis is teaching you, too! I want to make sure that your dog behaves for you, not for me. I’ll teach you everything I know about how to handle, communicate with and bond with your dog.
